Weekend neighbours

I had a great weekend celebrating my mum’s 80th birthday, in a socially-distanced fashion, in a converted farm building situated in an otherwise deserted corner of the Peak District. I tried making conversation with the nearest neighbours but they didn’t seem very impressed. And despite me being at least two metres away at all times!
